Description

An easy and impressive dessert featuring layers of creamy cheesecake, fresh strawberries, and crunchy vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz (475 ml) heavy cream
  • 14 oz (396 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 box vanilla wafers (about 12 oz)
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vanilla Wafer Crust: In a food processor, crush about 2/3 of the box of vanilla wafers until they are fine crumbs. Add the melted butter and mix until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  3. Prepare the Whipped Cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully blended.
  5. Assemble the Trifle: In serving cups or a large trifle dish, layer the crushed vanilla wafers, cheesecake mixture, and sliced strawberries. Repeat the layers until full.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the trifle until ready to serve.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor. This dessert can be made a day ahead.
