- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz (475 ml) heavy cream
- 14 oz (396 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 box vanilla wafers (about 12 oz)
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Prepare the Vanilla Wafer Crust: In a food processor, crush about 2/3 of the box of vanilla wafers until they are fine crumbs. Add the melted butter and mix until well combined. Set aside.
- Make the Cheesecake Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Prepare the Whipped Cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully blended.
- Assemble the Trifle: In serving cups or a large trifle dish, layer the crushed vanilla wafers, cheesecake mixture, and sliced strawberries. Repeat the layers until full.
- Chill: Refrigerate the trifle until ready to serve.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor. This dessert can be made a day ahead.
