Description

A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with sweet, fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream, then eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla and heavy cream, then pour over the crust.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes until set but still wobbly in the center.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Before serving, spread strawberry jam on top and arrange the sliced strawberries.
  10. Slice and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother batter. Don’t overmix the eggs to avoid cracks. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
