Description
A delightful treat combining rich cheesecake and fresh strawberries into a smooth, creamy milkshake.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 recipe of Homemade Strawberry Sauce (chilled)
- 4 cups (8 scoops) vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/2 of a (6-inch) store-bought cheesecake, cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 5 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Crushed graham cracker crumbs for topping
- Fresh strawberries for topping
Instructions
- Prepare Strawberry Sauce (Optional): Make one batch of Homemade Strawberry Sauce and let it chill completely.
- Make the Cheesecake Milkshake: In a blender, combine the softened vanilla ice cream, cheesecake pieces, and graham cracker crumbs. Blend until smooth. Optionally, add 1/4 cup of cooled strawberry sauce for enhanced flavor.
- Decorate the Glass: Drizzle some of the chilled strawberry sauce inside the glass to create a decorative pattern.
- Serve the Milkshake: Pour the milkshake mixture into the prepared glasses. Top with cream cheese whipped cream, an extra drizzle of strawberry sauce, crushed graham cracker crumbs, and fresh strawberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
- Make the Cream Cheese Whipped Cream: In a medium bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add the chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract while continuing to whip until the mixture holds soft peaks. Pipe the whipped cream onto the milkshakes for an elegant touch.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality vanilla ice cream. Adjust the strawberry sauce amount to taste.
