- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 box vanilla or white cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the entire can of strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Scatter the cream cheese cubes evenly over the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix directly over the cream cheese and strawberry layers. Do not stir or mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
- Pour the milk evenly over everything.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, room temperature, or chilled.
Notes
For extra flavor, mix a little vanilla extract into the cream cheese before layering. Consider topping with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
