A simple and delicious dessert that combines creamy cheesecake flavors with fresh strawberries, all topped with cake mix and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (20 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread this mixture over the strawberry pie filling.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  7. If desired, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top for an added crunch.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Allow the dump cake to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired. Can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
