- 42 oz strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 15.25 oz white cake mix
- 1 cup salted butter, cold
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and spread out as evenly as possible.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Slice the cold butter into thin pats and arrange them over the dry cake mix.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
