A delicious strawberry cake perfect for large gatherings, full of flavor and easy to make.
Ingredients

- 12 large eggs
- 600 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 400 ml whole milk
- 400 ml vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 900 g whole wheat flour
- 30 g baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 35 x 45 cm cake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla essence, milk, and vegetable oil (or melted butter), and mix well.
- In another bowl, sift together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve with fresh strawberries or whipped cream for added flavor. Keep covered at room temperature for 2-3 days, or in the fridge for up to a week.
