  • Author: olivia
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x
  • Diet: Paleo

Description

A hearty and satisfying meal combining steak and fresh eggs for a protein-packed breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 6–8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 12 garlic cloves, pan-roasted (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • Salt, black pepper, and chili flakes to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the steak in a hot skillet with butter or oil for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
  3. In the same pan, crack in the eggs and cook until the whites are set, but the yolks are still runny. Sprinkle with chili flakes.
  4. Slice half an avocado and fan it out on the plate.
  5. Toss a few garlic cloves in the skillet while the steak cooks. Once golden and soft, they become a flavorful topping.
  6. Plate the steak (sliced if desired), eggs, avocado, and garlic. Sprinkle with sea salt and cracked black pepper.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for perfect steak doneness; aim for about 130°F for medium-rare. Customize with more spices or different cooking methods for the eggs.
