Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 cup cooked spinach (excess moisture squeezed out)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, cooked spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then mold the meat around it to form a meatball.
- Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy spinach garlic meatballs!
Notes
Squeeze out excess moisture from spinach to prevent soggy meatballs. You can experiment with different cheeses for variety.
