Description

Delicious meatballs filled with gooey mozzarella, blending the freshness of spinach and garlic. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked spinach (excess moisture squeezed out)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, cooked spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then mold the meat around it to form a meatball.
  3. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy spinach garlic meatballs!

Notes

Squeeze out excess moisture from spinach to prevent soggy meatballs. You can experiment with different cheeses for variety.
