Ingredients

- 12 oz (340g) jumbo pasta shells
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and red chili flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
- Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and toss them with the onion mixture.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano over the shells and mix well.
- Serve the spicy unstuffed shells topped with whipped ricotta.
Notes
Garnish with fresh herbs or extra chili flakes for added flavor. If reheating, add a splash of water or olive oil to prevent drying.
