Description

Quick and delicious Spicy Unstuffed Shells topped with whipped ricotta, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and red chili flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and toss them with the onion mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the shells and mix well.
  6. Serve the spicy unstuffed shells topped with whipped ricotta.

Notes
