Delightful appetizer combining the sweetness of shrimp and the crunch of cucumber, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or chili powder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sriracha (or more to taste)
  • 1 large cucumber, sliced into rounds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Sear Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
  2. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sriracha until smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble: Place the cucumber slices on a serving tray. Add a dollop of the spicy mayo to each slice.
  4. Top: Place a cooked shrimp over the spicy mayo on each cucumber slice and sprinkle with sliced green onions.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately as a light and elegant appetizer.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, store shrimp and sauce separately in the fridge for up to two days.
