Description
A quick and tasty stir-fry featuring chicken and fresh vegetables, paired with steamed rice and a spicy garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thin
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce (or sriracha)
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil or neutral oil
- 1 cup cooked jasmine or basmati rice
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a hot skillet, cook chicken strips in sesame oil until golden brown.
- Add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Stir-fry until just tender.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Add to the pan with the cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.
- Toss everything together and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until well coated.
- Plate it with fluffy white rice on the side.
Notes
Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for added texture and flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
