A quick and tasty Spicy Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry Bowl featuring sautéed chicken, vibrant broccoli, and a flavorful sauce.

- 1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1–2 red chilies (dried or fresh), sliced or whole
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds & green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Toss the chicken pieces in a little salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
- In a hot pan with oil, cook the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add the broccoli and chilies to the pan, sauté for 2–3 minutes, then stir in minced garlic.
- Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce (if using), honey, and rice vinegar. Stir until bubbly and thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan and coat well in the sauce.
- Serve over cooked jasmine rice, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of chilies. Add other vegetables like bell peppers for a colorful touch!
