Description
A hearty dish that combines tender steak pieces with creamy cheddar sauce and pasta, packed with spices for an irresistible flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella (for extra melt)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until garlic is golden and fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream. Stir in garlic powder and let it gently simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Stir until cheese melts and the sauce is thick and creamy.
- Return steak and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce and steak is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot in the skillet.
Notes
For extra richness, add more butter to the sauce. Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of red pepper flakes.
