Delicious and easy appetizer combining spicy sausage, creamy cheese, and heat from Rotel tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb spicy breakfast sausage (uncooked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (drained well)
  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Extra cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the spicy sausage, cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, and Bisquick. Mix until everything is fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Optional: Top with more melted cheese and a sprinkle of parsley. Serve warm!
