- 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Add the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Mix diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread the peach mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll tightly from the long side and cut into 12 slices.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Use fresh peaches for best flavor; you can also substitute with other fruits. Don’t skip the yeast activation for fluffy rolls.
