- 2 cups cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup oats
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Cut the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and vanilla extract, then add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Press half of the dough mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish to form the base.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the base layer.
- In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour and oats with the remaining dough mixture.
- Crumble the remaining dough mixture over the cherry filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
