Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the M&M candies, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
