Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour, salt, and finely chopped nuts, mixing until you have a soft dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are slightly golden at the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, generously dust the cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easy mixing. If the dough is too sticky, chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before rolling.
