Description
A delicious ice cream that combines cookie dough with Snickers and Reese’s for a rich, indulgent treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Snickers bars, chopped
- 1/2 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Ice Cream Base: In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar dissolves. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
- Make the Edible Cookie Dough: In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Stir in vanilla, milk, and heat-treated flour. Fold in mini chocolate chips and refrigerate for 10 minutes until firm. Break into small chunks.
- Assemble the Ice Cream: Once the ice cream is churned, transfer it to a large bowl or container. Gently fold in the cookie dough chunks, chopped Snickers, and Reese’s peanut butter cups.
- Freeze & Serve: Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate sauce or caramel.
Notes
Use heat-treated flour for safe cookie dough. Feel free to substitute with your favorite candies.
