Description
A delightful dessert combining creamy vanilla ice cream with chunks of Snickers and Reese’s, along with cookie dough pieces for a sweet indulgence.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (optional)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 Snickers bars, chopped
- 2 Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Ice Cream Base: In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla. Whisk until the sugar dissolves. If using peanut butter, warm it and stir in. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn until thick. Set aside.
- Prepare Cookie Dough: In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla, then gradually mix in heat-treated flour and salt. Fold in mini chocolate chips and roll into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble Ice Cream: Fold in chopped Snickers, chopped Reese’s, cookie dough bites, and extra mini chocolate chips into the churned ice cream.
- Freeze: Transfer mixture to an airtight container, cover, and freeze for 4 to 6 hours until firm.
- Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to heat-treat the flour for safety. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, mix in a shallow dish every 30 minutes until firm. Feel free to personalize with your favorite toppings.
