A delightful dessert combining rich flavors and crunchy peanuts, inspired by the classic Snickers bar.
Ingredients

- 1 and 3/4 cups salted roasted peanuts, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3 tablespoons ice water
- Homemade salted caramel
- 1 cup salted roasted peanuts, chopped
- 6 ounces milk or semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- Chopped Snickers bar (optional)
- Crushed peanuts (optional)
- Extra caramel for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- In a food processor, pulse 3/4 cup of peanuts, flour, brown sugar, and salt until it resembles coarse meal.
- Add the cold butter and pulse until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
- Transfer to a bowl, stir in ice water until the dough comes together, and press into a 9-inch tart pan.
- Line the crust with foil or parchment, add pie weights, and bake for 18-20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
- Mix salted caramel and 1 cup of peanuts. Pour into cooled crust.
- Melt chocolate and peanut butter, then spread over the caramel nut filling.
- Chill tart in refrigerator for 2-3 hours or until set. Garnish if desired.
Notes
Store the tart in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Use cold butter for the crust for the best texture.
