A delightful twist on two classic desserts, combining snickerdoodle cookies with cream cheese and apple pie filling.

- 1 (1 lb 1.5 oz) pouch Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups apple pie filling, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- Remaining snickerdoodle cookie crumbs from crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.
- In a large bowl, mix the snickerdoodle cookie mix with butter until it forms crumbs. Press 2 cups of the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes and set aside to cool.
- Mix the remaining snickerdoodle crumbs with 1 tablespoon melted butter and toss to combine.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg and beat until smooth.
- In a small bowl, mix the apple pie filling with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and stir to combine.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust, then spoon the chopped apple pie filling on top. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature; excellent with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
