S’mores Seven Layer Bars

Description

A delicious twist on the classic campfire treat, these seven layer bars feature graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows for a rich and gooey dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup broken graham cracker pieces
  • 2 (1.55 oz) chocolate bars, broken into pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.
  4. Sprinkle half of the marshmallows, all of the chocolate chips, and broken graham cracker pieces over the top.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining marshmallows. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the marshmallows are browned and the edges are golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and place the chocolate pieces on top. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into pieces. Bars will still be gooey but will hold together.
  7. For the best results, allow to cool completely before serving.

These bars can be served at room temperature. For best results, let them cool completely before cutting.
