A comforting, hearty dish that brings all the flavors of classic stuffed cabbage rolls without the hassle of rolling each leaf, made easier with a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- Broth or water (enough to cover vegetables and meat)
- Salt, pepper, and preferred spices
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, add the ground beef (or turkey) and break it apart.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and sliced carrots.
- Pour in enough broth or water to cover the vegetables and meat.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any other preferred spices.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) to 480 minutes (8 hours) or high for 180 minutes (3 hours) to 240 minutes (4 hours) until the vegetables are tender and the meat is cooked through.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
