A simple and delicious slow cooker dish featuring tender cabbage in a buttery sauce, perfect as a side dish.
Ingredients

- 1 medium green cabbage, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Salt & cracked black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup water or vegetable broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Add the chopped onion and water or broth to the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Place the cabbage wedges on top and drizzle them with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 2.5–3 hours, until the cabbage is tender.
- Top with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté the onions before adding. Adjust butter to taste or substitute with olive oil for a lighter option.
