A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory black pepper sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper (fresh cracked preferred)
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (to coat beef)
- 2 tbsp oil (for frying)
- Sesame seeds & green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Toss beef with cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or pan. Sear beef until browned; remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook onions, peppers, and garlic until just tender.
- Add soy, oyster, hoisin, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Return beef to the pan, toss to coat everything in the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes more.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh cracked black pepper. Adjust the vegetables to your preference.
