- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter with the granulated sugar until smooth.
- Gently stir the dry ingredients into the butter-sugar mixture until just combined—avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownie bread to cool slightly; then drizzle with your favorite hot fudge sauce for an extra chocolaty finish.
Notes
For an extra treat, serve topped with vanilla ice cream or extra hot fudge. Store in plastic wrap for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a week.
