Description

Delightful appetizers filled with shrimp and cream cheese, perfect for parties or as a fun snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, finely chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Sweet chili sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shrimp, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold and pinch to seal tightly.
  3. In a deep skillet or pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry in small batches for 2–3 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Garnish with more green onion and serve hot with sweet chili sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, feel free to add a dash of hot sauce to the filling mixture. Use fresh shrimp for the best taste.
