Description

A delightful dish that combines tender sirloin steak and juicy shrimp with flavorful teriyaki sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz lo mein or yakisoba noodles
  • 1/2 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Sear steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add another tbsp oil to the pan. Cook shrimp until they turn pink and are cooked through. Set them aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic in sesame oil. Stir in soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, and honey. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked noodles, seared steak, and shrimp back into the pan. Toss everything together to coat well.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy your dish while hot!

Notes

Tip: Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and should be removed as soon as they turn pink. Use fresh ingredients whenever possible.
