A quick and tasty one-pan meal combining tender shrimp, smoky sausage, and healthy cabbage, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 head green cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
- Add sausage slices to the pan and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add cabbage and cook until softened and caramelized. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Push the cabbage to the side, add shrimp, and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Return sausage and bacon to the skillet. Toss everything together. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
Notes
For customization, consider adding other vegetables such as bell peppers or carrots for added flavor.
