Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • wonton wrappers
  • sweet chili sauce for dipping
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, cream cheese, and green onion until well mixed.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over, and seal tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  5. Fry the wontons until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet chili sauce.

Notes

For a healthier option, you can bake the wontons instead of frying them. Brush with oil and bake until crispy.
