- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- Wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the mixture in the center.
- Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper to seal it, forming a triangle or pocket shape.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm, optionally with a sweet chili dip.
Notes
Best served hot and crispy with dipping sauces like sweet chili or soy sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
