Description
A quick and delicious Shrimp and Broccoli Stir-Fry that combines tender shrimp and fresh broccoli in a flavorful sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mushroom sauce or oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until it’s tender yet still crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mushroom sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Add the broccoli back into the skillet with the shrimp. Pour the sauce over the top and stir everything together for another 2 minutes until the shrimp and broccoli are coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
Notes
For a more colorful dish, feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of honey.
