Delicious and hearty sausage and cheese breakfast muffins, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
  5. Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden and cooked through.

Notes
