Ingredients

- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden and cooked through.
Notes
These muffins are best enjoyed warm. Customize with different cheeses or add chopped vegetables for added nutrients.
