Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced green olives
  • 1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Fresh thyme, for garnish
  • Flour or cornmeal, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly grease a sheet pan and dust it with flour or cornmeal.
  2. Stretch the dough to fit the pan, making it about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with cheese, then add the olives, peppers, and onions on top.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on the pizza, sprinkle with oregano, and bake for 15–18 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme. Slice the pizza and serve hot!

Notes

Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
