- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp rose syrup (Rooh Afza)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp rose syrup
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
- 1 tbsp dried rose petals
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, yogurt, milk, rose syrup, and vanilla extract together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cake cool.
- In a separate bowl, mix the condensed milk, whole milk, heavy cream, and rose syrup.
- Once the cake has cooled, poke holes in the top and pour the milk mixture evenly over it. Refrigerate for 1 hour to soak.
- After chilling, spread whipped cream over the cake and sprinkle chopped pistachios and dried rose petals on top.
- Slice and enjoy your delicious Rose Milk Cake!
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing, and avoid overmixing for a fluffier cake. Adjust the rose syrup amount to taste.
