Description

This delightful dessert combines creamy cheesecake with rich peanut butter and chocolate flavors, topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1520 Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  6. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  7. Fold in half of the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups.
  8. Pour the batter over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
  10. Turn off the oven and let cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  11. Remove and let cool completely at room temperature.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  13. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering.
  14. Stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth; let cool slightly.
  15. Drizzle the ganache over the chilled cheesecake.
  16. Top with remaining chopped Reese’s, peanut butter chips, and caramel sauce.
  17. Add whipped cream for garnish if desired.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is soft for a smooth texture. Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating to prevent cracks.
