A delicious twist on classic banana bread, combining ripe bananas with peanut butter and chocolate for a sweet treat.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini Reese’s peanut butter cups (or chopped regular ones)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Banana slices for topping (optional)
- Melted chocolate for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the mini Reese’s peanut butter cups and chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. If desired, top with banana slices.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Cool slightly, drizzle with melted chocolate if you like, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Great with extra peanut butter on top!
