A stunning dessert combining classic red velvet with crunchy Oreos, topped with cream cheese frosting and raspberry sauce.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
- 1 cup cream cheese frosting
- 1/2 cup raspberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, vanilla extract, and white vinegar.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Fold in half of the crushed Oreos.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- Spread cream cheese frosting between the layers and on top of the cake.
- Drizzle raspberry sauce over the top and garnish with the remaining crushed Oreos.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and do not overmix the batter. Can experiment with different Oreo flavors.
