- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla.
- Beat in the eggs until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the egg mixture until well blended.
- Stir in the red velvet cake mix until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Dollop the marshmallow cream on top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
