- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3 packages cream cheese (8 oz each, softened)

- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup red food coloring (optional)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, vanilla extract, red food coloring, white vinegar, and buttermilk.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing well. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool completely.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla and flour, mixing well. Then, add eggs one by one, followed by the sour cream.
- Once the cake is cool, level the top, and pour the cheesecake mixture over it.
- For an optional swirl, mix the additional red food coloring and cocoa powder, drop it on the cheesecake, and swirl it together.
- Bake the cheesecake at 325°F (165°C) for 55-65 minutes. Allow it to cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- When ready to serve, remove it from the springform pan and garnish as desired.
Notes
To enhance flavor, serve with whipped cream, fresh berries, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for easier mixing.
