Description

A stunning dessert that combines the rich flavors of red velvet cake with creamy cheesecake, topped with a luscious chocolate ganache.


Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 32 oz (4 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the flour and mix well.
  5. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Let it cool before removing from the pan.
  9. Top with chocolate ganache for the drip effect and enjoy!

Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing. Don’t overmix the batter.
