Description

Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 180 g sugar
  • 120 g softened butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 ml milk
  • 250 g unsalted butter for frosting
  • 300 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk for frosting
  • Food colorings (pink, yellow, blue, green)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly add this to the butter mixture along with the milk, mixing until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. For the buttercream frosting, whip the unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk until light and fluffy.
  7. Divide the buttercream into several bowls and color each with different food coloring.
  8. Fill a multicolored piping bag to create a rainbow effect.
  9. Decorate the cooled cake with roses, swirls, and colorful flowers.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for the brightest colors and don’t hesitate to try different frosting designs.
