Ingredients

- 200 g flour
- 180 g sugar
- 120 g softened butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 120 ml milk
- 250 g unsalted butter for frosting
- 300 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk for frosting
- Food colorings (pink, yellow, blue, green)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a round cake pan.
- Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy.
- Add the eggs one by one, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly add this to the butter mixture along with the milk, mixing until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let the cake cool completely.
- For the buttercream frosting, whip the unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk until light and fluffy.
- Divide the buttercream into several bowls and color each with different food coloring.
- Fill a multicolored piping bag to create a rainbow effect.
- Decorate the cooled cake with roses, swirls, and colorful flowers.
Notes
Use gel food coloring for the brightest colors and don’t hesitate to try different frosting designs.
