Ingredients

  • 200 g of flour
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 120 g of soft butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 120 ml of milk
  • 250 g of soft butter for frosting
  • 300 g of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk for frosting
  • Food coloring in pink, yellow, blue, green

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, incorporating the vanilla.
  4. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the mixture with the milk.
  5. Pour into the pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool.
  6. For the buttercream, whip the butter, powdered sugar, and milk until light and fluffy.
  7. Divide cream into portions and color each with food coloring.
  8. Fill a piping bag with multicolored frosting to achieve a rainbow effect.
  9. Decorate the cake with colored roses, swirls, and flowers.
