Description

A simple and delicious homemade tartar sauce that’s perfect for seafood dishes and ready in just a few minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles (or relish)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill
  • 1 tsp capers (optional), minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir in the chopped pickles, herbs, and capers if using.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Chill the sauce for 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
