- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and parmesan cheese. Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using) and let it simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, return the chicken to the pan, and simmer for 6-8 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Be careful not to overcook the chicken to avoid dryness.
