Description

Light, fluffy muffins made with quark cheese, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g quark
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the quark, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let them cool slightly before removing them from the tin.

Notes

Serve warm with butter, jam, or cream cheese. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
