- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, eggs, and evaporated milk until smooth. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture, and then scatter the chopped pecans on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and pecans.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set in the center. Let cool slightly before serving.
