- 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
- 4 tbsp (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup pecan halves or chopped pecans
- Maple syrup or caramel sauce (for drizzling)
- Powdered sugar (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Arrange sweet potato slices on the baking sheet. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Brush this mixture on the sweet potatoes.
- Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and top each slice with mini marshmallows and pecans.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows turn golden.
- Drizzle with maple syrup or caramel sauce, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
